I have used this method of posting to Craigslist to promote my own microsite, websites, and online ebook projects. I am a GIS mapping expert, and what I basically did was mine posting data from the sites, combine them with demographic data from the government, and then geolocate all 289 US Craigslist market cities. It took some time, but I ended up with a series of maps and sorted reports that helped me prioriotize my posting efforts.
