I always say there is no secret to getting website traffic. You either pay for it or use free traffic strategies to get it for free.
Well the two step traffic system works like this. You first use free traffic strategies to start making some sales & get some profits & you then invest those profits into a scalable paid traffic source so you get more traffic & make more sales. By scalable paid traffic source I mean the more you spend the more traffic you will get (Example: Pay Per Click)
So to do step one here are some free ways you can start getting traffic:
- Write articles and submit to directories
- Do tutorial videos & upload them to YouTube and other video sharing sites
- Do guest posts on blogs
- Do newsletter swaps with people in your industry
- Exchange links with sites in your industry
- Take part in your industry’s most popular forums
- Use social media (facebook - twitter) to distribute your content & develop a follower base
The second part of the system is to then invest your profits in paid traffic. Now most people think of Google Adwords when it comes to paid traffic but if you’re just starting out in pay per click I actually wouldn’t recommend you use Adwords first. There are plenty of other pay per click engines with traffic just as targeted but your price per click will be a lot less!
So there’s the two step traffic system. I hope you start implementing some of the free tactics & once you see some profits then start investing those profits in scalable traffic.

This is an excellent tactic for anyone who is starting out in the online world but instead of PPC you could also use the tatctic of paying someone else to use the free methods at the same time.
