Wordpress search engine optimizationI love wordpress blogs. Their easy to install, easy to manage, easily extendable which a huge developer community & lots of great plugins & once you know what you’re doing the search engines love them. In fact I love them so much that I run this blog using WordPress.

However right after you install your wordpress blog it’s not optimized for the search engines or optimized to encourage the sharing of your content on social media & social networking sites.

You need to optimize your permalink structure, install plugins which encourage your readers to share your content, optimize your page title structure and lots of other cool stuff that can take a while to do if you don’t know what you’re doing.

So here’s a set of step by step videos that will show you exactly how to optimize your wordpress blog for the search engines.

The videos are very detailed & easy to follow and don’t cost an arm & a leg (They’re only $10.00!) So go check them out at the link below if you would like to optimize your wordpress blog for the search engines & start increasing the amount of traffic Google is sending to your blog!

WordPress is funnyI have a whole list of things I have to do when setting up a site. I always have to use it cause I always end up leaving one plugin out or another.

  2. Mark,

Nice post but how about my blogger blog? ;-) I think it’s pretty well optimized but I’m sure there are still tons of things I could do. Or do I just transfer it to a wordpress blog? I’ve heard that the big G doesn’t like posts/ blogs being deleted so is transferring seen in the same light? My whole Google setup will get penalised? Thanks, Martin
