Another interesting stat to come out of the study is that ‘Facebook fans reported spending $71.84 more per year than non fans’

If you fully read the research, the data clearly shows that people spend more on a brand after becoming FB fans, despite obviously already being ‘fans’ in the traditional sense of the word beforehand.
