Google Buzz has arrived: It’s Googles answer to social media but will it work?

Google Buzz was just announced today. It’s basically Google’s answer to social media.

Google Buzz will allow you to “Share updates, photos, videos, and more” and “start conversations about the things you find interesting”

So the billion dollar question is will it work?

Will Google Buzz make people spend more time on Google products & Google Sites? And will that traffic come from users of Myspace, Facebook & Twitter?

Only time will tell but considering the massive Gmail user base Google has their sure to be off to a flying start already!
